Strip Wax

Strip wax is the most common type of waxing. It's a runny wax that's applied in a thin layer using a disposable wooden spatula stick. Hair is then immediately removed by rubbing a disposable strip against it and quickly peeling it off. Your wax will generally last 4-6 weeks and we sell a full range of products to protect against dryness and ingrown hairs. Shaving is the enemy – If you want to remain hair-free for as long as possible, you really should grow the hair for three to four weeks before getting waxed.

Hot Wax

Hot wax is heated to a slightly higher temperature, and is a much thicker wax made up of plastics too to allow it to set hard. It is applied to the skin, allowed to cool and set, and then pulled directly off without the use of a paper strip. After a client's first waxing, the results can last 3 to 6 weeks depending on the individual's hair re-growth rate. In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two and noticeably increases in the third and fourth week.

What is the difference between strip wax and hot wax?

Warm wax is the perfect variety of wax for large treatment areas, like the legs and arms. It's ideal for applying over the skin in longer lengths because removal is achieved with paper or cotton strip, unlike hot wax which is swiftly ripped off either with the hand or the edge of a wooden spatula.

Electrolysis
Eyes and Brows
Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. ... Most areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis, including the eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and legs. There are generally no permanent side effects, but sometimes a temporary, slight reddening of the skin may occur.

Threading

Threading

In threading, a thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short rows of hair. As opposed to waxing, tweezing, or lasers, threading is considered one of the safest and most precise methods of hair removal, especially in the delicate areas surrounding the eye

Tint
Tints

Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows

Several factors can affect exactly how much time you can go in between eyebrow-tinting treatments. The consensus among experts is that eyebrow tinting will last between three to eight weeks. Factors in how long your tinting will last include:

  • the type of dye

  • how hard you scrub your face

  • what type of makeup remover or face cleanser you use

  • sun exposure

  • sunscreen use

  • how quickly your hair grows and sheds.

Generally speaking, expect your tint to last about a month between touch-ups.
